Job Description:


Job Summary:
Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Supervises the coordination of distribution of spaces, communication services and expansion of facilities.

May have responsibility for setting and monitoring health and safety standards. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Ensures the proper functioning of the equipment/machinery, as well as carrying out the analysis and implementation of improvement projects to reduce downtime.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the reliability of productive assets and infrastructure by leading maintenance strategies
  • Design and administration of planning and programming of maintenance to equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities through the work and development of maintenance programs
  • Promote the improvement of maintenance processes to ensure the reliability of assets, implementing preventive and predictive techniques through the analysis of maintenance information
  • Collaborate with warehouse to ensure effective management of spare parts inventories
  • Generate the maintenance budget and implement controls to ensure zero financial variations
  • Responsible for daily management systems that support equipment reliability: work orders, root cause analysis, etc.
  • Ensure the response time to work orders generated to the maintenance department
  • Responsible for the maintenance communication cycle, indicator management, control board and technical indicator board
  • Monitor the performance of equipment/machinery through the measurement of KPIs (corrective and preventive actions)
  • Train technicians and operators in maintenance strategies and TPM
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance plans and system feedback to improve activities
  • May have responsibility for setting and monitoring health and safety standards
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • Support to NPI, ROS, MES-FTPC and other departments to provide adequate support to the operations plant
  • Recommends the purchase of equipment/machinery through capital projects
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to guarantee the efficient development of the function
  • Window to ISO 9000 for the equipment/machinery maintenance quality system
  • Comply with the Norms and environmental standards for safety, occupational health and quality, as well as the RA MMC procedures and good practices, aimed at conserving the Environment, Accident prevention, the health care of our staff and Quality of our products.

Requirements:


  • Engineer in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanics, or related field
  • Mechanical and electrical technical knowledge
  • Ability to train and coordinate technical staff to achieve results
  • Critical ability to analyze, troubleshoot and analyze data
  • Ability to develop short

  • Knowledge of reliability methods and asset maintenance practices
  • English 6070% spoken and written
