As a Payroll Specialist at Kellogg you will utilize your ability to manage conflicting responsibilities, as well as your keen eye for detail as you process payroll for various parts of the companies ensuring deliverables are met.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Payroll Processing - You will be processing payroll weekly for multiple parts of the organization ensuring deliverables are met timely and accurately. You'll adhere to payroll policies and procedures and ensure confidentiality. Ensuring accuracy in processing payments, benefits, deductions, manual or void checks will be key

Ensuring a Strong Internal Control Environment - With a competence for compliance, you'll maintain related ledgers and perform account reconciliation for assigned accounts. You'll also achieve assigned period, quarterly and annual critical filing deadlines and assist with year-end processing functions. Our success is shaped by you.

Special Projects and Continuous Improvement - With an owner's mindset, you'll embrace innovative thinking and change, and identify areas where we can standardize processes or technologies and develop better ones. You'll also investigate and resolve payroll processing issues with corporate and manufacturing locations, outside agencies and vendors, and manage miscellaneous projects as assigned.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar
  • Excel
  • Analytics and Intellectual curiosity
  • 35 years of experience in Payroll for USA and Canada
  • Willing to adjust work schedule to fit the region's time zones
