Logistic Coordinator

Purpose of Position.
Development and management of processes and tools to ensure compliance with U.S. customs laws when importing goods from third countries.


Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for keeping the different databases updated and in accordance with applicable foreign trade regulations.
  • Coordinate import and export process from transportation request to delivery of material in plant or warehouse, as applicable.
  • Support in internal and/or external foreign trade and customs audits.
  • Dealing with shipping lines and Customs Brokers.
  • Procedures before Governmental Secretariats.
  • Propose the best transportation providers and customs brokers.
  • Establish internal controls to comply with current regulations.
  • Stop any activity that puts the safety, integrity or health of personnel at risk and/or represent a threat to the environment.

  • Bachelors Degree and/or Engineering in internacional commerce or similar (desirable

Work Experience

  • Experience in the area of international commerce (2 years desirable).
  • Knowledge in the process and regulations of imports and exports.
  • Knowledge of air, sea and land logistics
  • SAP (Desirable)
  • Certificate in imports and exports no more than 2 years (Desirable).
  • C-TPAT Knowledge (Desirable)
