Job Summary:

Support engineering change requests by collaborating with factory personnel
Design product improvements to enhance manufacturability and meet customer requirements
Create models of parts and components using Solidworks and generate drawings for manufacturing personnel and suppliers
Take charge of bill of material development and upkeep via Oracle ERP systems
Collaborate with certification, validation, and photometric labs to carry out safety and regulatory assessments
Assist in fulfilling custom modification requests from inception to implementation
Act as a technical authority on the product and address inquiries from various teams
Occasionally visit manufacturing and assembly sites to enhance product designs
Ability to independently manage a project from start to finish with minimal supervision, focusing on manufacturability and end-user experience
Travel requirement: up to 10% of working hours

Skills and Minimum Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or a related field
Minimum of 1 year experience in electromechanical design
Basic understanding of sheet metal, injection molding, casting, extrusion, and welding processes
Proficiency in Solidworks or other 3D CAD software
Attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficient in English
