Job Description:


On Site:
This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis


What you will do:
Accountable for providing Workplace Safety technical and regulatory advice, mentoring, instructing, and coaching to site/functional operations. They are responsible for assisting Site Leadership with the following to maintain compliance with all GM Workplace Safety and regulatory requirements


Analyzing Workplace Safety data and communicating results and trends along with continuous improvement opportunities; Assessing site Workplace Safety performance and conformance to requirements.


Additional Job Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Managing the site as Subject Matter Expert on Workplace Safety requirements.
  • Working in partnership with the local site leadership to support Workplace Safety cultural transformation.
  • Developing and educating site employees to drive Workplace Safety cultural transformation; and Developing partnerships with key site personnel including Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing Leadership, Human Resources, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics resources, and Health Services.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, and all Engineering related.
  • Required experience in similar position: from 1 to 3 years

English Level:
Medium


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Compliance and administration of corporate and legal requirements (NOMs, OSHA, etc.)
  • Lead Investigation of incidents and accidents
  • Support to the different risk prevention committees
  • Change management of the different processes
  • Training to different groups in accordance with the Workplace Safety System
  • Communication of the different prevention campaigns
  • Support for corrective action plans
