Accounts Receivable Coordinator


You will collaborate internally with the Sales and Customer Care departments to onboard new customers, set up credit limits, review pending orders lacking sufficient credit, collect past-due and/or over-credit limit accounts, and manage past-due and/or over-credit limit accounts.

Externally, you will work with customers to establish new accounts and credit terms, ensuring accounts stay within credit terms. Additionally, you will process credit card payments from customers.

Here's some of the other things you can look forward to

  • Make recommendations to Management regarding credit limits.
  • Recommend alternative means to minimize risk when customer does not qualify for credit.
  • Periodical review of credit risk and credit lines for existing customers.
  • Research disputed invoices and request any necessary internal corrections.
  • Maintain records on outstanding receivables and keep Sales, Customer Care and Finance management informed.
  • Work with third party collection agencies to collect past due accounts when internal efforts have been exhausted.
  • Setup new customers in Microsoft D36
  • Send new customer welcome letters.
  • Complete forms sent by customers so they can set up Hempel as a vendor in their system, lien waivers, trade references, etc
What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor Education
  • Minimum two years AR experience required
  • Knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer
  • Experience with computerized accounting software (preferred but not limited to D365)
  • Advanced English communication, both oral and written
  • Planning and organizing
