Job Description:
- The System project leader acts as a subproject manager in the development of an OEM project and will coordinate cross functional engineering teams to achieve project goals during all the project life cycle

- Manage AUTOMOTIVE projects requirements to be implemented on time, within costs and specifications. Will be responsible for making sure the technical team understands and fulfills the customer's requirements.
- SYS-PL drives the regular crossfunctional alignment meetings with other project leaders within the project, for open topics, issues monitoring, tracking and resolving.
- Risk management within discipline scope and support of the Project Manager.
- Evaluation and planning of technical requirements and estimation of effort within project scope.
- Evaluation of change requests.
- Consulting of OEM on technical discussions within project scope.
- Supports the Project Manager in the management of technical issues within project scope.
- Preparation of releases within the project scope (e.g. Quality Level, processes and industry standards).
- Problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Responsible for evaluating customer specifications, translating requirements into requirement evaluation and tests coverage, and support of issue tracking.
- Responsible for the timely delivery of product goals and targets, including specifications and samples.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (Electronics, Industrial, Computer Systems or equivalent).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technical project management of AUTOMOTIVE product development (life cycle automotive industry experience).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in leading project teams.
- Experience with vehicle and system testing and release procedures in automotive or related industry.
- Strong oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish).

- Travel required approximately 20% of the time within Mexico or USA, depending on Project type and status.
Language & Tools:
- English: Advanced (Fluent) (Good written / verbal communication and presentation skills to discuss and negotiate issues / solutions with team and external customers).
- Technical Risk Analysis FMEA.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project).
