Job Description:


To lead and manage a team of interior design co-workers to create relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial home furnishing solutions that contribute to positioning the IKEA brand as the leader in life at home and increase interest for home furnishing in the local market.


Responsibilities of the Job:


  • Lead and manage a team of Interior Design coworkers and over all secure our uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation and home furnishing solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes and sales support areas.
  • Actively support in the development of the department action plan with interior design initiatives that are focused on growing the business and support longterm profitability and execute agreed plans together with the Com&In team and other functions.
  • Responsible of preparation for measuring performance interior design part /related functional review points in order to identify improvement areas and using the details follow up and learning to improve the team.
  • Secure that interior designers team execute home furnishing solutions with high quality, simplicity, costeffectiveness and efficiency using global tools and best practices.
  • Act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and ensure the Interior Design coworkers understand the impact of Com&In actions on the financial results.
  • Ensure the team always keep visitors in mind, disruption is minimized and communicate changes when working on the shop floor.
  • Actively contribute in the national Interior Design network and share national directions and global tools with the Interior Design coworkers in the stores.
  • Plan and support the related home furnish range presentation and other related projectresources throughout the organization without losing their own Com &In store capacity.

  • Interior design and trends that influence home furnishing.
  • Deep knowledge in The work method for presenting the IKEA range. IKEA Concept and IKEA Brand objectives.
  • Deep knowledge in Leadership capabilities.
  • IKEA mechanical sales system. Global tools and solutions.
  • Deep knowledge in build interior design succession.
  • Knowledge of tools, proven solutions to make global solutions.
  • Knowledge in relevant software and production tools designed for interior design.
