What is the job about?

The Business Analyst SIOP and Pricing supports the financial side of SIOP in the Water Utility Segment with information and analysis among the different stakeholders.

"The tasks include analysing the actual pricing development (price effect) and comparing this with the agreed Group target understanding the mix impact in Sales development and making sure that the pricing included in the SIOP process is aligned with such expectation. The role will have several interfaces with a full value chain perspective" - explains Julieta Castellanos, Finance Director WU

Your main responsibilities:

Monthly SIOP price analysis and profitability impact.
Determine Stock level to positively impact in WU profitability and balancing this with the WOC and Cash ratio ambition.
Assist in Business cases related to WOC build up or changes in Supply chain
Assist in providing insight for correct financial decision based on product portfolio and mix (new and old products as well).
Control and Verify the pricing impact of the implemented pricing strategy in the WU Segment and the effect on Net Sales and profitability.
Make sure that the product portfolio from the strategies and programs are included in the SIOP process in an identifiable way
Prepare follow up information regarding the product portfolio status vs the WU strategy and on Business Cases.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
Minimum 2 years' experience in Finance role supporting sales, supply chain or manufacturing, using SAP and Vendavo (or similar price management tool).
Fluency in English.
Experience or ability to learn about pricing strategies
Experience in calculating the profitability impact of WOC investment
End to End value chain perspective, enabling collection of data from multiple source systems and translation into an aggregate dashboard.
Ability to clearly and concisely summarize data and present conclusions to management.
High analytical, creative thinking and problemsolving skills
Extensive use of complex spreadsheets and datasets to consolidate and analyze data.
Style that is collaborative, service oriented and collaborative.
Good knowledge of SAP R3 FI, SD modules, BW and IBP
Good knowledge of pricing matrix and CO-PA structures
Knowledge of Vendavo or similar pricing tools and Sales Excellence process
Super user with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI
