EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Bachelor's degree (engineering, logistics, business or related degree) required years related experience in a supplier quality engineer role, project management role or related supplier quality function.


KNOWLEDGE:


  • Ability to lead detailed projects, provide status reports and track progress with management teams.
  • Indepth knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) and Minitab
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organization skills a must
  • Leadership, dedication, capacity to perform under pressure and a strive to grow professionally
  • Detail orientated.
  • Experience with continuous improvement project skills

MAIN ACTIVITIES:


  • Ensure proper quality requirements (critical / key characteristics) are identified on drawing.
  • Coordinate PPAP level requirements and compliance to PPAP process.
  • Establish & track PPM goals for each supplier.
  • Support Buyer in solving supplier quality issues.
  • Identify supplier quality problems through line issues, incoming inspection rejects and/or supplier audit.
  • Collect samples of defects
  • Disposition of quarantine material due to supplier defect
  • Initiate corrective action requests through CAR process.
  • Follow up and close CAR in timely manner.
  • Propose quality improvement plan for all suppliers and commodities.
  • Support resolution of any warranty claims
  • Conduct day to day follow up on supplier quality production issues.
Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in


relation to the standard ISO9001: 201- Comply with safety rules according to the function.

  • Comply in time planned trainings related to Quality and Training.
  • Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
