Objective:
This role involves developing key strategic initiatives for S&R, overseeing the Sweets business in Mexico and Spicy candy in the United States. It entails identifying and implementing effective business solutions based on consumer, shopper, and category insights, leveraging company competitive advantages, and ensuring realistic implementation through strong cross-functional collaboration with a deep understanding of Finance, Operations, and Commercial aspects.
Business Strategy:
- Development of strategic plans for 'Sweets brands' in Mexico and creation of an annual brand marketing plan encompassing sales, profit, and market share objectives, consumer and channel strategies, and effective translation of strategies through the marketing mix.
New Market Development:
- Devising Go-to-Market strategies tailored for the Hispanic market to expand brand presence in the US. Crafting actionable channel-specific plans, ensuring a suitable product portfolio, and effectively communicating unique selling propositions to key stakeholders.
Project Management and Execution:
- Overseeing brand projects such as advertising, promotions, and innovation. Providing clear direction to cross-functional teams to develop impactful programs that enhance brand equity and deliver results within set timelines.
Budgeting:
- Responsible for managing the brand marketing budget, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and monitoring budget performance throughout the year. Collaborating with Finance to adjust any incorrect budget entries as needed.

- Experience with SAP, IRI, Scantran, and Nielsen.
