Objective
Lead and manage the splicing processes of all Battery Trays programs. The Welding Sr. Engineer will be responsible for ensure compliance with the performance KPIs of the hot bonding processes.

Main Responsibilities

Comply with the welding KPI's, manage and control all the welding processes of the EMC 2 plant
Modify and/or adjust welding parameters to meet with the requirements of our client
Maintain weld FTT at a minimum of 90%
Reduce internal SCRAP derived from welding processes.
Improve the performance of welding consumables.
Maintain an optimal welding health chart according to the requirements of our clients.
Analyze C&E reports and trigger necessary adjustments based on their experience in conjunction with welding technicians
Support in the training and training of plant welders
Train and train welding technicians
Control the performance of welding processes through process audits
Lead the CQI15 audit with our clients.
Support FMEA and PC creation and update.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree Mechanical, mechatronic or electrical engineer
Advanced English
Experience in assembly processes, preferably bodywork, BIW
Welding and/or manufacturing specialist
Knowledge of GMAW, GTAW and RSW welding processes
Knowledge of destructive and nondestructive welding validation

Experience in welding and assembly processes in the automotive industry
Experience in adjustment of GMAW & GTAW welding parameters
GD&T experience.
