Opportunity

BASIC FUNCTION


Under the direction of the Information Technology Supervisor, is responsible for the correct operation of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and Smart Factory supporting the local and global teams.

Provide training and act as a consultant to the users involved with the operation of the System for its correct operation.

Follow-up the maintenance of the hardware used in the Company, like printers, scanners, telecommunications, network, and IT devices. Support, all the activities in the IT department in the 1st and 2nd levels.


SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES
Administrate the ERP, MES, & Smart Factory, and set up user profiles, plate profiles, printers, and locations.

Implement and maintain computer systems and/or programs and associated hardware, as required. Coordinate tests and observe the initial use of the system to ensure it performs as planned.


Repair, maintain and administrate all hardware equipment, especially the related to ERP, MES, & Smart Factory (printers, scanners, cords, and wedges).

Maintain all Zebra thermal transfer bar code printers in good condition, and ensure the quality of printing (bar code).

Contact the Service Desk or Global team about new associates and problems with ERP, MES, & Smart Factory.

Carry out the preventive maintenance of the production equipment (PC, terminals, scanners, printers, and handhelds).

Ensure the correct operation of the scanners and send scanners back for repair as necessary.


Provide guidance and direction on how to analyze problems and develop solutions related to the ERP, MES, & Smart Factory.

Training new users, and supporting current users with new reports.


Test new versions of ERP, MES, & Smart Factory, verify the operation and quality of the new version to determine if is accepted or rejected.

Advises and/or responds to emergencies on 24-hour basis as needed.

May act as a mentor to junior system analysts.

Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position (See Responsibilities chart by position).

Manage and coordinate local and global IT projects assigned.

Additional activities could be assigned depending on company needs.


Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:
Preference Bachelor's degree in computer systems.


EXPERIENCE:
Preference minimum 4 years experience in systems and programming. Experience in manufacturing production systems is a plus.
