The Accounts Payable Specialist (Invoice Processor) reports to the Accounts Payable Operations Manager (located in the US) and provides support in functions related to Accounts Payable and T&E.

This role is responsible for invoice processing and resolving assigned customer inquiries in the Customer Service inbox. The major responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following


Expected Responsibilities

  • Log into websites, download invoices & send them to Concur
  • Process invoices in the Concur Invoice Capture queue by separating documents/invoices and populating header information
  • Process invoices in the Concur Unassigned Queue by assigning invoices to submitters/approvers and chasing unsubmitted and unapproved invoices
  • Research, reply & correct payment exceptions (i.e. positive pay, ACH rejections)
  • Reply/resolve issues assigned in the AP Customer Service inbox
  • Prepare Reporting/Metrics for Management
  • Reconcile vendor's statements
  • Collaborate with team members to help with overflow and cover absences
  • Invoices payment
  • Adapt to and embrace process improvements
  • AdHoc Tasks/Projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Able to speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Comfortable speaking English with management and vendors
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, from an accredited college.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of related experience required
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decisionmaking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management inside and outside the organization
  • Responsive, motivated selfstarter who takes initiative and ownership of assigned tasks driving them to completion.
  • Experience with Concur and/or Salesforce a plus
  • Experience maintaining sensitive data
  • Attention to detail, planning, and a sense of urgency is key

Shift

  • Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:30
  • Friday 8:30 to 2:30
  • Onsite (Deleg, C. Lago Müritz 84A, Anáhuac I Secc, Miguel Hidalgo, 11320 Ciudad de México, CDMX)
