RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a highly analytical, hard-working, resilient and self-starter to join our
fast-paced oil and gas corporate finance team as a
Senior Associate.

The position requires a strong focus on quantitative and qualitative analysis, independent research abilities and financial modeling paired with natural curiosity of understanding the oil and gas sector and high tolerance for non-linear workstreams and tight deadlines.

In exchange, we offer senior management and client exposure, a clear career path and personal and professional growth in one of the region's premier oil and gas financial advisory teams.

While no day is generally like the other, Senior Associates mostly work on:

  • Supporting more senior team members on specific workstreams within projects such as company and asset valuations, strategic financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions and private placements, project finance, due diligence and other financial services to companies in the global oil and gas sector.
  • Independently and proactively executing multiple simultaneous project workstreams with support from junior team members and deliver constantly ontime and above expectations.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the creation of presentations such as pitchbooks, client reports, deal documents (teasers, information memorandum), and thought leadership pieces; sophisticated financial models for different oil and gas market segments including exploration and production, midstream, infrastructure and oil and gas service industries, amongst others.
  • Managing more junior team members on valuation analysis, transaction advisory and strategic consulting processes.
  • Leading information gathering processes and analysis of vast amounts of information in a timely manner and provide condensed analysis to senior team members.
  • Providing informed market insights on the industry and educating and mentoring more junior team members on such topics to incorporate information in business and financial models.
  • Mentoring junior staff on the industry and professional development.
  • Balancing priorities to clients and internal direct reports to ensure that expectations are met.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience with a strong preference for work in strategy consulting, financial advisory, investment banking or private equity.
  • Minimum 3 years of financial modelling and/or transaction experience.
  • Prior experience in oil and gas, energy and/or infrastructure is a plus.
  • Detail orientation and meticulousness with a "candoattitude" and uncompromising desire for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Working well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment with a "thinkoutsidethebox" approach and in a multidisciplinary team including petroleumrelated engineers.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: flexibility, resourcefulness and problemsolving mindset to do whatever it takes, paired with an ability to succeed in ambiguous situations and a genuine sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of software packages including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.
  • Experience working with diverse teams.
  • Kroll is committed to equal opportunity and diversity, and recruits people based on merit._
