Role Summary:

We are Wabtec Corporation, the NPI Sourcing department.

This role gives support to NPI Buyers through executing the Request for Quote (RFQ) Process in a timely manner, initiating and expediting the Part Qualification (PPAP) process, and assisting buyers in achieving key NPI fulfillment metrics.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Execute Request for Quote (RFQ) Process with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely return of quotes
  • Initiate PPAP requests, participate in PPAP review boards to ensure timely launch of supplier PPAP's, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely PPAP completion
  • Communicate with suppliers to receive component promise dates, and expedite material as necessary to ensure timely delivery to the production shop floor
  • Contribute to projects as a team member within the NPI Fulfillment organization and support buyers in other tasks as necessary to ensure NPI Fulfillment team success

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's in International Business, Relations, Administration, or Industrial Engineering from 7th semester;
    at least with 1 year until graduation

  • Availability from Monday to Friday (7AM 4PM)

Location: Monterrey, NL (near Torres Moradas / Galerías Monterrey):


  • Contract duration: 6 months but might be renewed for another 6 months (1 year, max 18 months in total)
  • Salary
    :$10,000 per month + food allowance
