Job Description:

The Sales Support Specialist role is a Sales enablement and support role within Global Sales and Marketing (GSM).

This role will define, drive, and support critical sales processes, tools, and initiatives by establishing and maintaining key relationships with customers and distributor partners for our selling organization.

This will involve operational support of North America sales offices and staff while working collaboratively to assist with pre and post sales activities.

This position supports personnel to maximize efficiency by providing timely and accurate support as requested.


Responsibilities:


Distributor support:

Drive Distributor competency in Rockwell Automation tools, processes & procedure; collaborate and strategize with other company and Distributor functions as needed to resolve issues and improve Distributor and related sales execution.


Projects Management & Support:

Lead and/or support project teams and change programs including initiatives to establish or enhance sales processes, tools, and competencies to drive measurable Sales and Distributor productivity improvement.


Sales office facilities management:

Work effectively with other members on the Sales Specialist team; train new team members on processes, tools, and other job functions; provide sales support assistance for outside sales staff and for direct customers, including Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; lead and/or support North America and Global Sales Operations and Sales Enablement initiatives.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 or more years of experience in a support role preferably within sales or operational related field.
  • Must be fluent in reading and writing within English language.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline, marketing, or businessrelated field/experience.
  • Strong competency with Microsoft Office 365 for Business tools and Power Platforms
  • Previous experience in Sales or Sales support is desired.
  • Must demonstrate customer focus skills, deadline, and detail oriented, devise solutions and improve processes.
  • Ability to organize/schedule both people and information.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a Sales environment.
  • Ability to selfmotivate and manage time.
