Job Summary

Located in Guadalajara, North Campus, the Architect, Global Networks will be working in the IT IES's Global Network and Telecom team that will be replacing our entire, global Wide Area Network (WAN).

We need an architect level expert to provide guidance and direction through this multi-year effort (3+ years to design and deploy).

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

Design and implement short

- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network/telecom capacity meets existing and future requirements.

Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network/telecom resource administration and appropriate use.
Develop and deploy methodologies for testing network and telecommunications performance and providing network/telecom performance statistics and reports.
Assist in defining system architecture standards for the enterprise. Deploy across enterprise Responsible for planning and maintaining the IT architecture standards for the enterprise.
Manages supplier and customer relationships to ensure requirements are met.
Conduct research and analyzes technology industry and market trends to recommend technology strategy that best supports system and customer needs and overall business strategy
Effectively identify and communicate risks during course of projects
Works with internal and external customer and vendor management to define system design requirements and maintain technology standards conduct testing and development disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions, and backup systems.
Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network and telecom products and services.
