Job Description:

As Senior SW Engineer you will have the opportunity to develop software for Advanced Diver Assistance Systems (ADAS), being responsible for:

  • Requirement analysis and functional specification of ADAS software functions.
  • Software development for embedded systems aimed to automotive crossfunctional platforms.
  • Testing of software functions, in hardware and software simulation environments, to ensure conformance with customer requirements.
  • Software debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Process documentations of software outputs.
  • Technical contact for the global software development team and the customer.

Qualifications:


  • 5+ year professional experience in SW development for automotive embedded systems, coding in C and C++.
  • Experience in analysis of requirements and design of embedded SW.
  • Applied knowledge on automotive coding rules and programming standards (MISRA, JSF or similar).
  • Handson experience with CAN and Ethernet communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic communication protocols such as UDS, J1939 or GMLAN.
  • Expertise using embedded debug tools, e

g:
Lauterbach tools or GDB.

  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience with source control management tools, e.g. Subversion, GIT, MKS.
  • Skilled in problemsolving.
  • Proficient in English language (written and spoken), able to effectively communicate with a global team.
  • Proven collaboration in international and cross divisional teams.

Preferred qualifications as a plus:

  • Experience with AUTOSAR.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Linux or QNX.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and scripting languages, e

g:
CAPL Python, Perl, Shell, Bash, etc.

  • Familiarity with test environments and testing methods.
