Responsibilities:

This role is to execute a DOT regulatory requirement under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Title stating employers must respond to DOT inquires (D&A results and Reportable Collisions) for previous employees within the past three years for both traffic and sales.

The nature of the work is a federal requirement from the Code of Federal Regulation noted above.

This role is responsible for responding to all inquires (3 year look back) on behalf of two Frito-Lay DOT numbers; Frito-Lay Inc.

# and Rolling Frito-Lay Sales LP


ACCOUNTABILIES:


  • Responsible for responding to efax requests from other employers and hiring firms for previous employees (3 year look back)
  • Open efax and obtain name of previous employee.
  • Search Kelmar to determine if they were a DOT regulated employee within the last 3 years.
  • If no state "This person is not in our DOT regulated database."
  • Search FSSolutions Drug & Alcohol Database with name to see if they tested positive for a drug or alcohol.
  • If no select line 3 and 4 on attached sheet there was no positive drug result and no positive alcohol result.
  • If yes indicate the test date and MRO date.
  • Search DOT Reportable Spreadsheet(s) and indicate date and reportable criteria (death, tow or ambulance) in additional information box.
  • Search collision spreadsheet and indicate if name was involved in a collision. If yes provide city, state and preventable or nonpreventable.
  • Complete Word document from search databases and spreadsheets.
  • Improve processes and efficiency where needed.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English is a must
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/operations, engineering or similar field preferred
  • Power BI, Power App or Tableau experience is preferred and a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a professional and constructive manner internally and with suppliers
  • Must have strong analytical and problemsolving skills in order to formulate effective action plans to deal with issues proactively
  • Produce/review various performance reports to drive results
  • Advanced/Proficient Computer Skills, Excel is a must
  • Strong passion for customer service and fleet excellence
  • Ability to effectively interact and build a favorable business relationship with internal and external customers
