The Role
- Developing leads from an existing suspect database
- Development of leads to successful conclusion
- Management and maintenance of pipeline through existing systems
- Selfgenerate prospect meetings and liaise with Client Management to create further sales appointments
- Work with Surety Deputy Director and teams to develop winning proposals for prospects
- Grow and develop prospect pipeline so that it is robust enough to exceed sales targets
- Meet as a minimum, new sales targets through acquisition of inscope business
- Strictly adhere all processes with high level of integrity and compliance
- Coaching Responsible for developing skills of direct reports
- Maintenance and attention to the current portfolio
- Effective negotiation and close communication with the different partners (surety companies)
The Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum 35 years Sales/Business Development; Insurance or Surety industry exposure is highly preferable.
- Excellent communicator; Team player, Attention to detail and quality 'right first time' mentality; IT & systems literate
- Microsoft office and Managerial ability re: motivation, decision making & delegation.
- Insurance or Surety industry exposure is highly preferable; Managing 12 people
- Sales environment highly preferable; Demonstrable track record of success in a sales role.
- English language mínimum 60% spoken and written.
