Job Summary:


The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for creating quotations and commercial proposals and presenting them to customers, managing orders and working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery at agreed cost.

This position also contributes to manage the lifecycle of the current plant components portfolio through price and margin analysis and to develop new solutions by identifying unsolved customers' needs and supporting in the value position definition.

This position will be based in Cuautitlán, Estado de México.
You should be able to travel 50% in this role (local).
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.


What you will do:


As a Sales Support Specialist you will:

  • Collaborate with the Americas Plant Components Team in the development of technical and commercial proposals, including customized solution created with different components included in the plan components portfolio. Work with other services categories to produce bundle offers.
  • Visit customers to understand their needs and participate in the proposal generation to answer those needs.
  • Support sales account managers, customer service operation team (CSO) and administrative sales support functions with technical specification for components.
  • Create sales order based on quotations, generating part numbers for customized items, and followingup with suppliers to ensure on time and in full deliveries are met, solving potential issues by evaluating available alternatives and selecting the best one.
  • Ensure compliance of plant component business with commercial and tax practices.
  • Participate actively in internals followup meetings, providing the required information to understand the status orders (current and potential) and actions included in the operational plan.
  • Participate actively in the continuous improvement of our processes.

We believe you have:


  • Engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Availability to travel 50% related your professional activities (local).
  • 5 years' of experience in the field.
  • MS Office suite (ouutlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • SAP user experience deseirable.
  • Demostrated verbal and written communications skills.
  • Team player, high level of personal drive, quick learner, selfmotivated, detail oriented, acurrate and strong sense of urgency.
