Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics Engineering or related field.
  • 814 years of relevant work experience related Production Control, Materials or Logistics Sr. Coordinator, Supply Chain, Sr. Chief, Sr. Superintendent, Assistant Manager, Submanager.
  • Mandatory experience: PLEX system (MRP, process routing, ekanban, accounting, etc.)
  • Desirable experience: Stamping and welding process, Steel, and aluminum coils planning.
  • Mandatory technical skills: Kanban and Heijunka, international raw material management (CSP and SP suppliers, ecoat external suppliers), Just In Time (pull system, on site sequential delivery and 4 hours safety stocks), CRM and client portal management, Lean manufacturing and TPS (Toyota Production System), and Packing.
  • Mandatory business skills: bilingual English, strong leadership, people management skills, human resources processes implementation as leader role, strong communication skills, Knowledge on root cause analysis methodologies (5W+2H, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, Gemba, Sangen shugi, FTA, 8D, 7D etc).

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Review production schedules to ensure the manufacturing of product(s) is completed and scheduled delivery dates are met.
  • Assurance the Inventory levels are within target, as well as establish goals, rotating stock, managing purchasing and supply base, and developing methods and procedures.
  • Maintain effective communication with various groups such as customers, suppliers, Business Development, etc., to ensure ontime delivery of products and team support.
  • Assist in minimizing interruptions to production schedules through effective parts and materials procurement practices, plan and review production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
  • Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.
  • Assist in planning the operating budget for all areas of accountability.
  • Assist with the training of the Production Control team as required sharpening the team's performance skills presently and in the future.
  • Consider other duties as assigned.
  • Work closely with all departments, aid employees and supervisors in solving workrelated problems, maintain safety and manages quality system of the company.
  • Ensure programs are maintained, the department follows the standards, and the appropriate training is effectively given to all employees.
  • Analyze data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
  • Understand related topics with Packaging, such as design, QPC, standard pack, etc.

SALARIO $65,000 a $75,000 dependiendo aptitudes
