The
Operations Team Leader is the responsible to effectively manage production activities and personnel for a specific area, rotating shifts.


Responsibilities:


  • Followup of safety guidelines, risk identification and Near Miss surveys.
  • Responsible for the quality of the activities.
  • Carry out analysis of the verification results and issue a report. Follow the corresponding standards and procedures of Quality of the plant and the Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Keep your work area clean and orderly.
  • Notify and report anomalies in the detected equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with the policies/procedures and schedule of activities.
  • Manage the development and implementation of the production schedule.
  • Identify, recommend and implement manufacturing cost reduction programs.
  • Manage personnel, materials, and equipment to meet performance goals.
  • Track and analyze variations associated with materials or products.
  • Execute new technology in the operation.
  • Make recommendations on operating and capital budgets.
  • Production management and its ability to deliver high internal and external standards.
  • Contribute to the development of plans and strategies and contingencies for any introduction

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, chemical, process engineering or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in an operations or manufacturing position.
  • Intermediate English level.
  • Knowledge in safety, quality and continuous improvement standards.
  • Desirable experience in a mass consumption products company.
  • Desirable experience in inventory control, statistical control and notion of unit operations.
  • Desirable experience or knowledge in maintenance.
