Molex is seeking a contribution minded Lead Cost Manager to join our Finance team

Our Team

The Lead Cost Manager for the Molex Guadalajara plant will have ownership of the plant cost structure, maintain all production and costing transactions in SAP, engage directly with Operations and Finance leaders, provide quotations for new products, and influence process improvements that bring value to the plant.

What You Will Do

Lead, improve, and maintain an effective and trusted cost structure
Develop deep and lasting relationships with key operations leaders
Analyze plant finance operations through cost variances and plant metrics
Calculate labor and OH rates and lead rate maintenance, forecasting, and reporting
Engage with BU Finance leads to support all internal/external customers on costing
Knowledge share with other global manufacturing plants for best practices

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Fluent English (business conversational)
SAP, Infor, or other large ERP integrated system experience
Advanced knowledge in reporting and analysis tools (excel, databases, macrosautomation)
Experience with business analysis and data visualization tools (i.e. Power BI or Tableau)
Experience with one of more of the following: benchmarking, KPI tracking, variance analysis,

- capital projects, forecasting, planning, NPV, IRR, marginal analysis, and other metrics

Process Improvement / Process Transformation / Process Implementation experience

What Will Put You Ahead

5 years manufacturing industry experience; and/or global company experience.
3 years relevant experience leading a financial cost structure in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Cost Accounting/Product Costing principles.
Ability to travel domestic/international, including overnight stays (up to 10% of the time).
