Background


Purchase to pay function focusses on enhancing the supplier experience and covers all areas right from managing the invoice processing right until ensuring the payments are made to suppliers on time and in full.


Given the relevance of the change, we are looking for a manager role with prior Purchase to Pay experience to support the running of the P2P operations while some other P2P team members support the project design and implementation.

So, it's a temporary job with an estimated duration from 6 to 11 months. This person will work closely and report to Senior Purchase to Pay manager.

Here is how your day at Unilever would look like:

  • KPI: Drive the key performance indicators for Unilever which enhances the supplier experience such as ensuring top standards in areas Payment on Time, Purchase order compliance,
  • Query Resolution: Work alongside all Purchase Order/good receipt Creators and help them solve the queries pertaining to invoice approvals, budget non availability, Goods Receipts issues, payment status, employees claims, etc
  • Nil Controls/

Audit Deficiencies:
Payments is one of the critical processes in Unilever with huge financial risks. Ensuring all controls are in place for smooth functioning of payment process and its eventual substantiation as part of internal/external audits to ensure NIL deficiencies

  • Overdue reduction: Be part of the continuous journey to ensure all the overdues are settled and addressed in orderly manner and ensure sustainable reduction in overall overdues
  • Drive Projects: Participate in and drive existing transformation projects which improves the overall payment process and user experience

Country key process stakeholders (Procurement / Supply Chain / Finance)


Key Requirement:

  • Purchase to Pay process knowledge (min 3 years' experience)
- financial fundamentals

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Resilience (ability to cope with time pressure and challenges)
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to quickly understand new topics
  • Continuous Improvement skills through consistently work to identify opportunities and implement process changes to achieve harmonization and standardization.
  • Fluent Spanish and English
