The Business Intelligence Developer Senior provides the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of moderately complex Business Intelligence solutions and reports within Microsoft SQL Server BI stack and/or other tools.

This role is responsible for the aggregation of data from multiple sources into an efficient data warehouse and assists with designing reporting solutions for very large multidimensional databases.

Key Responsibilities:

Translates moderately complex business needs to technical specifications
Designs, builds and deploys moderately complex BI solutions
Maintains and supports data analytics platforms
Conducts developer testing and troubleshooting
Assists with the evaluation and improvement of existing BI systems and processes
Collaborates with teams to integrate systems
Develops and executes database queries and aids in development
Develops standard reports and functional dashboards based on business requirements
Develops and updates technical documentation
Adheres to documented SDLC steps and deliverables
Escalates open issues and proactively asks questions in an agile manner

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
3 or more years of related experience

Functional Skills

Knowledge of Structured Query Language (T-SQL)
Basic knowledge of one or more of the following skill sets: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
Knowledge of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Knowledge of data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
Development knowledge of all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective organization and time management skills
Analytical mind with a problemsolving aptitude
