The Science & Enabling Units IT is AZ's global IT capability function supporting key business areas operating out of sites across the US, UK, Sweden, India & Mexico.

We are looking for data analyst who will leverage tools & technology best practices to improve delivery performance & data engineering capabilities in the Data & Analytics space.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proven working experience as a data analyst/business data analyst
Interpret data, process data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize data efficiency and quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, Amazon Redshift, S3, Oracle etc.) and experience with data integration tools (ETL) (Talend, Informatica, SSIS, etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, scripts, stored procedures, report writing and presenting findings
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

MANDATORY SKILLS:

Any Database skills like SQL, Oracle, Redshift, Netezza, Teradata, etc.
Database SQL Scripting
Python Scripting
UNIX / Linux Platforms
Data Integration/ETL basic knowledge
Good written and verbal skills
Willing to work in a crosscultural environment
An analytical mind and inclination for problemsolving
Attention to detail

DESIRED SKILLS:

AWS cloud and Amazon S3 experience
Any ETL tools experience like Talend, Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services, etc.
ITIL knowledge
Working in a support and maintenance project
