Digital & Innovation Coordinator

Purpose of the Position:

Be a liaison between business and IT(global and local) teams, translating business needs

into functional and technical requirements to a digital solution or improvement in current

processes or communication, managing stakeholder's expectations.

Responsabilities and Job Functions:

Foster a digital and innovative mindset within GEMS Mexico
Coordinate and cultivate a strong collaborative working model with Engie Mexico and GEMS Corporate IT areas, support the initiatives including Engie group requests as lean, cybersecurity, global and regional initiatives.
Build a strong understanding of GEMS Mexico activities and transform business needs in functional solutions in collaboration with IT
Implement a vision for target landscape, with aim to (i) simplify and secure internal processes, (ii) boost digital customer experience, (iii) facilitate data management and improve performance, and (iv) look for the most accurate technological tools for the business ("TO BE situation")
Make business recommendation based on digital savviness for existing processes or solutions.
Create a Business Case for each initiative to evaluate business, financial and technical feasibility and document expected benefits for each initiative. Managing stakeholder's expectations.
Demand shaping of the current Digital roadmap taking in to account GEMS' organization chart and resources.
Monitor budget and timing at a project level and ensure that the expected value for each project is met. Ensure compliance of the internal administrative project processes.
Promote Agile ways of working (prototyping, short development cycles, MVPs, short feedback loops with business users,).

Ocupational Profile:

Career or Master degree on Information Technology / Data / Digital / Business Development / Computer Science
Strong interest in and understanding of latest IS technologies / trends
Understanding of gas and power commercialization activities
Knowledge of Mexican gas and power markets is an asset
Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and ways of working
Knowledge of (business) coding languages (e.g, Python), data management, is a strong +
Mastery of English and Spanish
