In this position you will be exposed to secret information regarding product manufacturing and new product lines containing external IP.


Furthermore, on this role you ́ll handle HR-related benefit and salary information of certain positions within the factory, you will join the LCR Americas Team and play a relevant role in protecting the world-famous LEGO brand and products for the builders of the future.


Core Responsibilities

  • Provide legal assistance and co drive the legal agenda in our production facility.
  • Management of standard contracts and guidelines for usage of the same.
  • Support different partners, such as Corporate Counsels and business collaborators with, drafting, reviewing and agreement contracts both in terms of working with LEGO contract templates and external parties' contract templates;
  • Support partners with followup advice and consultation to colleagues and business partners regarding contract terms and transaction strategy;
  • Support partners in providing training to business partners on contract related issues e.g. templates and contract law.
  • Partner with the local support areas (IE. Local Procurement team, and Construction/Expansion project managers) to provide legal advice and support in fulfilling the business needs.
  • Support the Environment, health & Safety area in the fulfillment of the legal requirements needed to be observed by the production site.
  • Be an ambassador within the organization in Ethics and Compliance
- related topics.

  • Co Build and Support the legal activities needed to secure the business continuity and expansion plans.

Play your part in our team succeeding

  • Securing alignment between different areas of support specifically Procurement, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Human Resources (HR) to secure business success.
  • Completing and coordinating all legal work requested/needed
  • Provide frequent training to the different positions sitting the production facilities in Cienega de Flores, Mexico, on Compliance and Ethics
  • Knowledge sharing and coordination within the Americas Legal team and the global Legal, Compliance and Risk Management Department.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Law Degree or similar degree to practice law in Mexico is required.
  • Masters Degree on any legal or business major currently ongoing or completed is a plus.
  • Minimum 35 years of legal experience from an inhouse role at a global company or junior level private practice position, especially within corporate and commercial law.
  • Experience in supporting legal consulting labor, environmental, administrative, intellectual property and company law in general.
  • Experience in legal counseling in complex multinational corporate environment, preferably from a corporate legal department, or from a law firm.
  • Knowledge of Ethics and Corporate Compliance.

Nice to have:


  • Experience in taking care of government officials in the three levels of government.
  • International work experience and/or international experience during studies.
  • Experience in providing legal counseling to manufacturing sites.
  • Experience with corporate governance and data privacy matters
  • TOEFL test or similar (+600 score)
  • Legal English is required
