The Technology Intermediate Business Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team.

The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyze business client needs, document requirements, define and analyze enhancements and derive test cases
  • Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measuretaking actions
  • Generate and compile reports based on findings, including probable causes and potenital solutions to systems issues
  • Assist in redesigning business processes and perform other duties and functions as assigned
  • Filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources
  • Exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical manner to facilitate communication between business units and IT
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Qualifications:


  • 25 years of relevant experience in business analysis or systems analysis
  • Knowledge of business analysis procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas
  • Proven analytical, inerpersonal and organizational skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects in the stream simultaneously
  • Consistently approach work methodically with attention to detail

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Responsible for analyzing business requirements for implementing or improving reconciliation processes.

This can include development of new recs as a result of new business or market activity, implementation of new logic or rules to enhance existing automated reconciliations.

A Business Analyst in LATAM Recon Solutions is a combined function responsible for building ICG GRU managed and Non GRU managed reconciliations:
Building a robust reconciliation control infrastructure
Supporting a center of excellence for reconciliation services
Driving a common reconciliation strategy across ICG and to provide temporary services to GCB as it is being divested.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Interaction with multiple business areas to understand requirements
  • Participate in discussions with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to design and implement solutions for Reconciliations and Controls.
  • Documentation of requirements into Business and Functional Requirement Documents (BRD's and FRD's)
  • Constant communication with Technology teams to ensure that the technical specifications are applied as required
  • Liaise between Technology and Business areas to ensure timely and successful User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ensure the effective implementation of any changes though monitoring of data and clear communication with required stakeholders
  • Analyze historical data identifying trends and exceptions, at a big scale.
  • Maintain clear documentation and records of all interaction relating to projects undertaken
  • Provide regular, accurate and concise feedback on all projects being managed
  • Ensure CITI Project standards are met and adhered to closely, well documented and within schedule.
  • Create reports / PowerPoints with key status updates

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in business analysis, design and implementation
  • Banking operations experience would be considered
  • Solutions Delivery Life Cycle, Methodologies and tools practitioner.
  • Strongly Independent
  • Desired experience in Stock & Cash Reconciliations
  • Reconciliation Automation tools knowledge recommended
  • Data Structures and Interfaces understanding.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Team player, ability to lead initiatives, highly analytical with project management skills

  • A good understanding of the Project lifecycle from initiation to release and post production support
