Quality Control Analyst, your future position?

Working for the Pedro Escobedo plant, reporting to the Quality Control Manager you will, under regular guidance, inspect and analyze raw materials, in-process and finished product samples to secure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications, and standards.

This is an onsite position at the Pedro Escobedo plant in Mexico.

In this exciting opportunity, you'll:

Perform chemical, physical testing, and sensory evaluations of products or incoming ingredients as identified by the current Givaudan specification for the item.
Perform sensory evaluations of products.
Enter test results into SAP resulting in an acceptance or rejection.
Perform basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration procedures.
Perform instruments, equipment, and quality deviation troubleshooting in the laboratory.
Maintain work a hygienic and safe work environment. Provide backup and support to team members.
Identify opportunities for improvements in QC and set proactive measures for trouble prevention.

You?

Have a Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field;
2+ years of experience working in a similar position.
Have a Professional License.
Advanced English required, written and spoken
Laboratory and QC techniques are required.
Operational experience and affinity with laboratory systems, analytical equipment, and instruments such as weighing balance, Densitometer, Refractometer, Moisture balances, Karl Fischer titrators, Sieve testing equipment, and GC.
Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials, and related local regulations.
Good Sensory Evaluation experience.
