The role of a Labor Relations Country Manager is to ensure the compliance of the Group's HR policies and tools within / across the different divisions as well as to provide support to Senior Management (Operations Directors / Managers and HR Directors) on Labor Relations matters
:


Main responsibilities:

  • Provides case resolution to the Business / Divisions as a Matter Expert
  • Designs and proposes worldclass processes within a specific area based on benchmarks, best practice
  • Provide expert leadership and provide access to expert knowledge, takes an innovative approach where existing solutions do not apply
  • Acts as Partner with the Business to ensure that global processes & policies meet business requirements
  • Investigate and resolve difficult highimpact cases escalated by the HR Managers, HR Directors or Operations Leaders according to policies and directives.
  • Have metrics built up to get organizational insight (Labor & Union Assesment)
  • Ensure a proper Labor Environment to promote productivity and safety across the sites
  • Define with HR Director Contry and HR Directors from Divisions the Labor Relation Strategy to maintain our competitive advantage
  • Guarantee 100% compliance with all Governmental requirements (STPS, IMSS, INFONAVIT, etc)
  • Ensure that Union Leaders act as partnerts to the company, maintain a Labor Environment under control
  • Manage industrial relations in conjuction with HR Managers / HR Directors.
  • Asses / Analyze current organizational capabilities and identify gaps to be prepare for the future to come
  • Report relevant Labor Relation information to the Division.
  • Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.
  • Bachelor's degree with a specialisation in Labor Relations
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a HR function within a industrial environment and Union Management
  • Expert of employment law
  • Expert on Compensations and Benefits
  • International mind set
  • Results oriented
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Effective Negotiation Strong skills
  • Minimum bilingual (proficient level of English required)
