Materials Planner for operations in Ramos I plant STR (Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila).

As a
Materials Planner you will be responsible Ensure the timely supply of productive materials to the plant by through the correct use of the material control system as well as the monitoring of the requirement daily and shipment of the same avoiding delays by suppliers.

Coordination of supplier shipments without incurring in Premium Freight, as well as in excesses.

YOUR TASK WILL BE
Coordination of supplier shipments ensuring optimal supply,

based on production schedule

Inventory management of productive materials making sure to maintain an optimal level

of inventory according to the established goals, avoiding Premium Freight

Supervision of the performance of the suppliers to make them comply with the requirements, Operations such as shipments on time and in required quantities, ASN transmission, etc.

Inventory management to ensure that we do not become obsolete

due to engineering and/or model year changes

Coordination of engineering changes with areas involved (Engineering, Suppliers, Warehouse)

Support for Cycle Counts in the analysis of inventory differences and validation of system adjustments

Follow up on transportation and shipments from the supplier until arrival at the plant with support from the Traffic area

Responsible for maintaining and updating the PFEP.

Responsible for updating the E&O Report.

Responsible for ensuring that all the material that reaches receipt already has an ASN and to be able to enter it.

Corrective Actions - Preventive Actions

Generation of Diamonds/straight whenever necessary

1Periodic reconciliation of accruals with suppliers, at least twice a month

Analysis of ASNs pending capture, previous dates and missing ASNs reported by providers

Analysis of requirements to suppliers and sending of releases.

Follow up on exception reports

Review of critics and recovery plan with suppliers

Knowledge

Compliance with the Internal Work Regulations.

Compliance with the quality policy.

Compliance with the Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability policy

Compliance with and participation in the Operating Model Program

Compliance and active participation in the Tiers system.

Participation in Plan and Development programs.

Reconciliation of virtual operations with suppliers at the beginning of the month.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLL YOU WILL NEED

English, traffic, cubic capacity, purchase order management, SAP, Releases.
