Position Summary:
Assists in determining the operations required for fabrication and assembly of products as well as implementing cost
- savings process improvements. Troubleshoots and resolves issues, estimating time requirements for operations, and preparing operation sheets. Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in the sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters in order to increase efficiency and cost savings. Programs CNC equipment.
Major Responsibilities:
- Maintain running process that produce parts in tolerance according to specs.
- Develop CNC programs not only at machine control but also using Mastercam to improve capacity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production area.
- Develop set up sheets, JIBs, visual aids, and documentation related with process.
- Determine the optimal operations required to fabricate and assembly products.
- Create capable process, ensuring safety and full compliance of quality specs.
- Implement cost saving process improvements.
- Support development of engineering projects.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- IMA, IME, IM, IIS, bachelor's degree or equivalent related
- Experience. 1+ years.
- Trained in CNC lathes and Machining centers.
- CAD-CAM capabilities.
- Tools and fixtures knowledge.
