We are looking for a VMWare & Nutanix expert to join our team.

Independent Contractor

40 hours per week

Full remote position.

Responsibilities:


  • Use and manage virtualization software such as VMware, and others.
  • Work on exchange tasks, desktop deployments, imaging, and account creations.
  • Create and manage data backup on external hard drives.
  • Maintain the security of the network by leveraging different systems, such as firewalls and intrusion detection.
  • Develop recovery programs in case of any loss due to natural or manmade disasters.

Skillet:

More than 6 years of expertise in supporting VMware 6.7 and 7.0+:

More than 2 years of proven experience with Nutanix

Advanced English level

  • Experience with DELL/Intel/CISCO hardware basic knowledge of Linux troubleshooting in ESXi, creating/managing HA, DRS, affinity rules, installing & managing ESXi host, patching & upgrading ESXi versions.
  • Should have experience in PhysicaltoVirtual (P2V), VirtualtoVirtual (V2V) and VirtualtoPhysical (V2P) migration of OS'.
  • Good knowledge of VMware server and other virtualization platforms & experience in large scale production support virtualization environment technical knowledge of VMware vSphere installation, configuration, and administration of ESXi 6.x/7.x.
  • Provisioning of new VMs', editing the VM configuration, creating/edit datastores, vCenter Server.
  • Familiar with any hardware issues Dell, Cisco, Intel, etc.
  • Skillset to focus Knowledge of ESXi, vCenter vSphere related issues.
