Job Description:

  • Lead the business development function with selected customers, including the development of master goods & services agreements, frame agreements, reliability and asset management contracts, digital solutions and energy transition programs.
  • Develop long term partnerships with selected accounts, looking forward to building winwin business relationships.
  • Develop, manage and foster relationships with specific selected customers at corporate level as needed.
  • Provide strategic and tactical business development support to John Crane Mexico sales & service management and to the local sales teams, fostering the teamofteams spirit.
  • Identify profitable top line growth opportunities and potential risks to John Crane's business, preparing and ensuring the effective implementation of action plans to either develop or mitigate them.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support John Crane ́s sales team to prospect contract opportunities, understanding voice of customer (needs and motivators), customizing solutions, providing high impact presentations, understanding the decisionmaking processes, assisting in the overall development of contract opportunities, negotiating commercial and legal T&C and most importantly
- ensuring customer success.

  • Support all contract renewals processes, looking forward to securing John Crane's business while also seeking profitable top line growth opportunities through the expansion of the current service and product scope.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external and internal stakeholders, targeting customers' decisions makers and influencers at multiple organizational levels (site and corporate), developing sponsors, interacting with John Crane ́s sales team and functions (locally/regionally/globally) and always seeking productive networking opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit highlevel business cases and financial analysis to request internal approvals according to Smiths' DOA (Delegation of Authority) and to John Crane's Legal procedures, being accountable for these internal processes as needed.
  • Provide assistance to the sales team and the contract management local/regional group during program implementation stage, explaining scope, identifying potential onsite engineers to be assigned at customer's sites, supporting the organization of contract kick offs and helping to timely startup the value delivery process.
  • Review contracts KPIs and P&L to monitor programs performance; and participate in contract reviews with customers at site and corporate level, triggering actions to ensure customer satisfaction and a healthy longterm profitable relationship for both parties.
  • Monitor market trends in maintenance, reliability, asset management and methane emissions reduction practices.
  • Identify End-ToEnd service innovation opportunities and support the development of new potential competitive advantages.
  • Identify customer's asset management and digital transformation projects, while also safety, energy transition, emissions reduction and enviromental corporate objectives, as these are strategic areas of collaboration with them.
  • Prepare and submit highquality monthly activity reports.

The Individual

  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineer.
  • Sales, solution selling or business development background (minimum 5year industry experience required).
  • Leadership, team player, high energy level, dynamic, emotional intelligence, hunting profile and a winning mindset.
  • Strategic thinking, influencing skills, change agent, high impact communication and winwin negotiation.
  • Languages: Spanish and advanced English proficiency.
