The evolving threats in the cybersecurity and resiliency space demand a broad team of professionals to bring security expertise and business knowledge to help enable the business to meet or exceed corporate baseline requirements to be integrated into our digital modernization.

Join us as a Data Protection and Security, Sr. Advisor on our Business Unit Security Officer team in Mexico.


What you'll achieve:


The Data Protection and Security Advisory will have the responsibility to support Dell's Security and Resiliency Organization (SRO) and the Dell's Security and Resiliency Organization (SRO) and the TechOps teams in the Product Groups of Dell in support of effective security planning in the evolution of their activities.

In addition to your data security, cloud security, and resiliency experience you will bring an energy and passion for enabling the business and helping your Dell peers in the business to embed security and resilience into our digital transformation efforts.


You will:


Support the Product Groups of Dell Technologies to help customers move into the future with multi-cloud, client, storage, computing, telco, AI and machine learning through the most innovative product, technology, and services portfolio for the data era.


  • Provide Data Security functional expertise through crossfunctional collaboration with SRO program and BU Product Group teams to influence their activities to align to the business units' digitization aspirations.
  • Serve as a Security and Resiliency Business Partner to a senior executive leader and their leaders and direct reports.
  • Raise the bar in our overall efforts to protect our customers' information through strong partnership and collaboration with Dell Digital, CSG and ISG Go To Market Leaders, Sales and CoC business partners and SRO Cyber security.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive presentations on data security, strategic and tactical plans including noncompliance remediation plans and Review customerfacing services, offerings, projects, products, and initiatives, to incorporate Privacy by Design Principles

Here's what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements

  • English language fluency in both spoken and written word is required and Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to document and communicate data, cloud security and resiliency controls to global colleagues who may be nonnative English speakers
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
  • 5+ years of enterprise experience in Data Security with working knowledge of Information Governance and Privacy working in a large technology firm with a global footprint
  • Awareness of industry trends in information security governance, data security and privacy as well as the ability to interpret and understand contractual obligations and legal regulations and Experience with nextgeneration information security governance and data security products
Desirable Requirements

  • Indepth understanding of data protection principles, security frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Security and privacy industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP); IAPP CIPT, CIPP/E/US, Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) preferred
