OVERVIEW
Responsible for leading the Engineering team to support Operations and Project development strategies. Supervisor of Mechanical or Project Engineers. In your role, you must ensure production capacity, quality capacity, and process reliability for equipment, tools, and methods.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Professional Career in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical)

5 or more years of experience related to the position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Bilingual 80% (English and Spanish), both oral and written

Leadership and communication skills

Design software (CATIA, Solid Works)

Six Sigma Methodologies

Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office

Knowledge about STPP NOMS-06, NOMS-26, NOMS-27, NOMS-36

Ergonomic methods (NIOSH, RULA, REBA, Suzanne Rodgers)

New equipment delivery/change delivery process

Risk assessments


PFMEA
Problem solving techniques

ISO knowledge

Line balancing and time studies.

Lean tools (standard work, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Poka-yoke, One Piece Flow, Model Mix)

Budget management (actual versus budget and forecast)

Soft skills (Negotiation, Responsibility, Analysis, Optimism, Creativity, Teamwork, Leadership, Change Management, Management of multiple projects,

Organization of priorities, punctual and/or global monitoring of progress)


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
Coordinate the activities of the Mechanical Engineer for operations and development of Projects, such as: Introduction of New Equipment / Tools, Poka Yoke and

Test Devices.

Resolve quality problems with problem-solving strategy (PSP, DMAIC, Workshop)


Lead the activities of the Engineering department regarding: Health and Safety initiatives, ISO 9000,
PFMEA, BSC objectives, Risk analysis in operation

Coordinate and develop the performance of the Engineering team according to the Success Factors Objectives

Implement short and long-term improvements in HSE, PPQ, Process Efficiency, Costs.

Lead and Coordinate Capital and Operating Expenses.

Enforce all BRP policies and administer disciplinary measures when necessary.

Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their function in relation to ISO 9001:2015.

Complete planned training related to Quality and Training on time.

Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.

Comply with safety rules determined according to your role.
