Summary
Assist with administration of all aspects of employee leaves and absences in accordance with Company policy and/or state, federal or local laws for U.S.
Responsibilities
- Assist the administration of all company leaves of absence, including Short Term Disability, FMLA, Long Term Disability, Military Leave, etc., for US population. Function as the primary contact for leave questions/concerns and respond timely to employee inquiries. Accurately update Leaves dashboard and troubleshoot to resolve issues as they arise. Update location/employee leave trackers in timely and accurate manner. Interpret and communicate leave data utilizing information in Hershey and thirdparty provider systems. Conduct followups on leaves with thirdparty provider when needed. Review daily File Feeds and ensure data is accurately processed in system; identify file issues and address with IS team/thirdparty provider as appropriate. Assist with weekly Salaried leave/payroll processes as needed. Process appropriate leave actions (LOA, Military Leave, etc.) in SF/SAP; partner with payroll and benefits teams as needed.
- LTD Processes
- Process LTD actions (going out/returns) for fulltime US Population (hourly and salaried) and make appropriate benefit updates Identify and troubleshoot issues with benefits and SF/SAP systems. Process appropriate LTD termination actions including Termination with Benefits, Terminations, and Retirements. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual audits to ensure accurate LTD information is reflected in Hershey systems.
- Monitor and respond to ServiceNow tickets timely and within the service level agreement. Work with the team to implement process improvements, integration of programs, streamline workflow, facilitate communications, and automate processes

- Knowledge of benefits, FMLA, STD, WC, LTD, policies and procedures related to disability and incidental absences.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training or experience
Experience
- Minimum 1year experience as benefits or absence coordinator with 23 years in customer servicerelated position.
- Working knowledge of benefits, absence policies and procedures.
- Computer experience (MS Word, MS Excel, SAP, Outlook).
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, supervisors, managers, absence management team members, IT, vendors, legal and payroll in a timely and efficient manner.
