A premier surgical and eye care clinic looking for specialist to create patient for life by providing the highest level of quality eye care with our caring staff, skilled medical team and by using the most advanced technology to ensure very patient the best possible vision.


Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Customer Contact Specialist is the first point of contact for customer inquiries and requests.

The Customer Contact Specialist is responsible for incoming/outbound customer calls and utilizes company policy to solve concerns, and direct call to appropriate department/person.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer calls in a busy Call Center environment while providing a world class phone experience.
  • Obtains client information by answering telephone calls interviewing clients and verifying information.
  • Triage calls and directs to appropriate department/individual.
  • Informs clients by explaining procedures answering questions providing information.
  • Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines.
  • Determines eligibility by comparing client information to requirements.
  • Schedules appointments for 19 Doctors and for 10 locations.
  • Make outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
  • Demonstrate concern for patient's problems and put the patient as ease.
  • Handle online correspondence in professional manner.
  • Comply with all HIPPA regulations in all interactions with patient information
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Advanced english level
  • Experience working in medical customer care field.
  • Ability and experience with medical terminology
  • Experience working as a bilingual assistant (health related offices)
  • Knowledge or previous experience working with insurance documents, forms, and or processes.
  • HIPAA knowledge
  • Equipment: Windows 10, 8 GB RAM memory, 20 MB internet speed, USB headset
