Function:
Supply Management / Logistics

Main Responsibilities:

Supervises supply management/logistics personnel to ensure supply management processes and strategies are implemented to meet cost, schedule, quality and delivery goals to support operations and activities.

Typically supervises 8 to 14 people (such as planners, logistics analysts, inventory control analysts, data coordinators, supply management specialists, cost management specialists, supplier development staff, and/or continuous-improvement project staff, etc.) who perform tactical and/or strategic supply management functions.

May focus on Aftermarket parts delivery, buying and planning execution.

What Skills You Need:

Ensures supply management activities and processes are implemented to support Order Fulfillment or Enterprise Product Delivery processes depending on the assignment.
Performs administrative duties related to performance management, salary pay plan, succession planning, resource planning, training, and development of direct reports.
Develops and manages budgets.
Focuses on the supply management sub processes to ensure an uninterrupted supply of material, conformance to Achieving Excellence and costreduction goals to support operations as well as introduction of new products. Monitors and executes inventory project plans to achieve inventory/asset management and material flow goals.
May participate or help to define or plan larger projects or lead larger projects to meet Unit or Division business objectives.
