Team overview and job responsibilities

Job responsibilities


Coordination of procedures, operation, maintenance in requisition necessary to operate in full compliance in federal and local agencies such as ecology, IMSS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, CEDES, STPS, OOMAPAS.

Coordination of programs in the warehouse in Arizona, USA.

Coordinate the management and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with legal requirements.

Coordination of the ISO-45001 / ISO-14001:2004 systems.

Responsible for preparing and approving IMDS required by the client.

Identify and control the disposal of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste, to comply with the internal requirements of the Environment.


Monitor lighting and noise conditions inside the plant, to generate a report with the results obtained and issue a copy to the plant maintenance department.

Environmental coordination in the company.

Security coordination in Prestolite/USA warehouse

Keep logs of SEMARNAT, Secretary of Labor

Comply with STPS regulations

Assessment of environmental and safety conditions

Physical audits in the development of good safety, health and environmental practices

Comply with external audits

Control, investigation, and documentation of work accidents

Compliance with the annual activity plans of the Medical Service, Safety and Environment areas.


Has the responsibility and authority to comply with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO-45001 / ISO 14000 current version standards and environmental activities and operations, must comply with ISO-45001 / ISO 14000 current version standards.

Implementation and monitoring of the ISO 45001 / ISO-14000 current version.

Re-certification and approval of the ISO-45001 / ISO 14000 system current version

Create and modify procedures and instructions related to the environmental management system.

Comply with the requirements of the environmental management system

Reduction of the annual risk premium

Carry out the Management review regarding ISO-45001 / ISO 14000 current version.

Emission inventories

Semi-annual reports of hazardous waste

Analysis, monitoring of wastewater

Lead controls

Drills, operating licenses and certificates of operation

Compliance with the annual activity plans.

Report monthly to the corporate in a general way the status of the plant in terms of safety.

Report on a weekly basis the activities related to the departments in charge.

Identify, control and monitor the general conditions of Safety, Hygiene and Environment.

Together with the Plant Manager, you are responsible for implementing the elements of ISO 14000 applicable to your process.

Who are we looking for?

2 years in environmental and safety management

Knowledge of municipal, state and federal environmental laws.

Secretary of Labor, IMSS, EPA, OSHA, DOT

Undergraduate level

English 90%

2 years of experience in environmental and safety management

Knowledge of municipal, state and federal environmental laws

Knowledge of aspects related to the Ministry of Labor, IMSS, EPA, OSHA, DOT
