The Claims Business Coding Supervisor II is responsible for managing the day-to-day direction of the business coding (backend processing)
support staff. This role oversees IRS-related duties, financial entries, EPIC security, transcriptions, claim file recoveries and other support
functions for the entire Claims Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages budgeting for the department
Creates objectives and metrics for the business coding staff
Supervises a staff of 8 to 15 employees
Integrates processes with acquisitions
Performs auditing functions and processes
Crosstrains employees
Provides coaching and conducts performance reviews
Performs special projects as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience
02 years experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Functional Skills

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, charting, etc.
Excellent analytical skills
Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to make independent decisions
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments
Strong understanding of the processes, the Claims Department and other departments within the company
Advanced Claims knowledge
Ability to successfully work in a high volume, fast paced, changing environment
