MIS Sr. Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Collaborate with leadership to understand technology needs and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the management of all cloudbased systems and ensure their optimal performance.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data and systems.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Delegate tasks and projects effectively, ensuring the team's productivity and professional growth.

Project Management:

Manage and execute IT projects, from planning to implementation, within established timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Vendor Management:

Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure necessary technology resources and support services.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure costeffective solutions.

User Support:

Provide technical support to endusers, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employees' IT literacy.

Policy Development:

Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements as needed.

Cloud Application Management:

Ensure the effective utilization of cloud services, optimizing performance and scalability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (5 years) in IT management roles, preferably in a service industry setting.
Strong knowledge of cloudbased systems, virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Handson experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Intune Suite, Jamf Pro MDM, Zscaler, TeamViewer, ProofPoint, OKTA, Microsoft 365, and AWS.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.

Language Skills:

Must have: Proficient in English and Spanish for effective communication with a diverse workforce.
Nice to have: Proficiency in Portuguese is an additional asset.
