Central Cutting Engineer
**Job based in Lear Corporation

You will be responsible for design and implement a continuous process flow that protects the cutting area from door to door Establish basic cutting procedures and standardize them in all MTO plants.

Work on the implementation of best practices and initiatives for the cutting area.

Your task will be

Coordinate engineering changes.
Release, approve and certify physical tools.
Verify the training and certification of cutting personnel at MTO plants.
Participate in programs and projects that affect the process and the client.
Determine the capacity of the cutting process per carriage line.
Optimize the use of tools in the cutting process.
Coordinate movement of machinery between plants.
Coordinate plants for implementation of projects in MTO.

To succeed in this role, you will need

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or mechatronics.
Advanced English.
Work availability.

- +3 years of experience in the automotive industry or equivalent.
- knowledge in Autocad Software, Cutworks. Experience in the cutting process, PFMEA, Parametry, IATF, coordination of personnel and projects.
