Purpose


Develop, implement and maintain "supply chain" logistics plans for the timely acquisition/delivery of quality production material at the most economical price to achieve internal or internal or external and external customer response expectations.


Responsibilities:


  • The holders of this job serve as an integral part of the material procurement/shipment planning process.
  • Primary responsibility is the development/maintenance of a formal, negotiated/documented and implemented logistics plan that includes:
  • Input/Output Flow Plans.
  • Documented/monitored performance measures.
  • Supplier (delivery)/customer negotiating process. (Shipment)
  • Quality levels.
  • Communications
  • Availability of materials.
  • Wait time.
  • Lot Size.
  • Packaging/labeling
  • Transportation
  • Collection/delivery points
  • Prepares a formal plan of production material supply order requirements to assess internal and external capacity and resource needs, and forecasts inventory asset dollar investment commitment needs for business planning.
  • Communicates "need to know" information to suppliers and other facilities for a clear understanding of the execution plan for cost containment and partnership relationship development.

Requirements:


  • Experience or general knowledge of material control, inventory control, manufacturing operations and processes, purchasing, and working knowledge of your various data processing systems.
  • Must be able to communicate and work effectively with all levels of personnel, both inside and outside the company.
  • Customer service
  • Frequent collaboration with foreign suppliers.
  • Schooling: Bachelor's degree or Engineering completed.
  • Advanced English
