US Corporates - Credit Analyst, Leveraged Finance, Middle Market

Fitch US Corporates Group is currently seeking an Analyst within the Leveraged Finance team based out of our Monterrey office.

We'll Count on You To:


  • Perform data analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the Leveraged Finance sector, including Middle Market borrowers, in support of new research;
  • Become an expert on the model used to derive credit opinion recommendations
  • Take ownership of a large number of credits to which Fitch assigns a credit assessment using a model
  • Prepare internal reports tracking key operational trends to inform senior staff and empower them to make good strategic planning decisions within the department
  • Occasionally collaborate with senior team members to publish research on Leveraged Finance and Middle Market/Private Debt topics, for Fitch's external audience which includes institutional investors, private equity sponsors, private debt funds, CLO managers, HY mutual fund managers and credit hedge funds.

What You Need to Have:


  • 12 years of relevant experience;
  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel;
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change;
  • Ability to excel in a teamoriented environment;
