The team you will be a part of:

The Project Management team manages all aspects of a large scale and complex project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.

Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing a project; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems, minimize delays.

Identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to complete the project.


This role in summary:


The portfolio planning manager is accountable for project portfolio management for Refrigeration Platform, ensuring the execution according to project scopes and within the resources previously planned


Expected outcomes:

-
Global Current Year Platform Product Plan delivered within plan and changes managed and executed through IoC process
-
Drop In & Minor Regulatory Project Plan that consistently delivers product leadership, profitability, market share while respecting Platform boundaries.
-
Stakeholders needs are managed, Platform plan (and IoCs) and drop-in portfolio are clear and available, aligned, consistent across all functional areas and levels.

Your responsibilities will include:

Manages the execution of the approved Global Projects Portfolio for the Platform, with special focus on Growth and Regulatory projects:


  • Ensures Projects delivery within overall Platform planned resources and with forecast accuracy

Manages changes to the plan through IoC (Impact of Change) process, coordinating project scoping cross-functionally within global R&D, leading bottleneck analysis, impact and trade offs simulations

Plans projects carry-over into Year+1, in strict cooperation with Product Planning team
-
Manage "Drop In" Portfolio, i.e.

unplanned requests (model lines, small Regulatory projects, unexpected needs) supported by Portfolio Planning sr Analyst

Ensures we have a defined and firm plan to manage Drop In portfolio
-
Works with the regional Product Marketing teams to understand business priorities and then develop the plan for how we meet the needs within the boundaries of resources (people and non people)

Ensures coordination of scoping process with cross functional teams within the global R&D function, leads prioritization and manages trade offs
-
Ensures delivery of the approved Drop In Projects within planned resources and with budget forecast accuracy
-
Resolve cross
  • Functions and Cross-Region trade offs
-
Coordinates the evaluation and decision taking around impact of changes in the Platform plan for the current year and considering impact on Y+1
-
Assures visibility and alignment between stakeholders (Regional business, Platform and Partner Functions) on all above

Minimum requirements:

-
Bachelor's Degree (Preference in: Engineering/Business management)
-
Fluency in English
-
Advanced knowledge and mastering of reporting tools (eg Google Suite)
-
Problem solving attitude
-
Autonomy, working with mínimal oversight and proactivity
-
Ability to work in a changing environment, facing the changes in a process-oriented, result-oriented way, leading cross functional teams in managing the changes
-
Project and portfolio management capability
-
Advanced presentation skills, ability to communicate to, inform and align cross functional stakeholders

Preferred skills and experiences:

Masters
-
Understanding of Business priorities (e.g. past experience in product marketing is a plus)

Project management experience (e.g. past experience as project manager is a plus)

Critical thinking skills and ability to proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and simplify work with mínimal direction (continuous improvement mindset)

Confident, determined and persistent to achieve and deliver

Responsibility for the actions and accountability for the outcome
