Summary

The Manager HBP Record to Report latam supports the mission to leverage resources on a global scale through the use of shared services to reduce costs, maintain or increase customer service, and build new capabilities.

This position is responsible for General Accounting, Foreign Currency postings, Intercompany transations and reporting, managing the month end accounting procedures, and supervisory activities over the General Accounting, and Financial planning process for HBP.

This role is also responsible to delivers process improvement for RTR, Blackline enhance for standardized and automated Account Reconciliation process, Journal entries, and reports for accounting processes.

Departments including:

Monitor to ensure timely and accurate completion of all month end accounting procedures
Post foreign currency gains and losses for accurate internal and external reporting
Intercompany transactions and tax reporting related.
Review balance sheet analysis and reconciliation for asset and liability accounts in SAP GL
Support the accounting impact of Company projects for successful implementation
Meet the Sarbanes-Oxley and both internal and external audit requirements as necessary
Design, propose, and develop Blackline enhancements for Acc rec and MJE.
Financial Planning Analysis for HBP Latam and support consoilidated process.
Develop strong and collaborative working relationships
Respond to staff requests and develop staff and self through training and development opportunities

Responsibilities

Execute supervisory responsibilities, including:

Review and approve the accounting team's reconciliations and journal journal entries
Complete Company performance management requirements
Intercompany activities and reports.
Work with staff to address issues in their areas
Lead employees to develop additional capabilities
HBP LATAM Budgeting support include main responsibilities
HBP management fee quarterly & annual calculation, recharge, and communication
Address the requests of internal and external auditors

Perform various general accounting activities, including:

Bank reconciliations and General Ledger analyses as assigned.
Manual Journal Entries review.
Analyze various prepaid and accrual accounts in SAP GL.
Sarbanes Oxley testing requirements and other internal control activities.

Design, propose, and develop Blackline enhancements for accounting process (MJE, Balance sheet account reconciliation, and reports)

Knowledge, skills and abilities

Detailed understanding of US GAAP accounting principles.
Deep Knowledge of financial accounting and internal control concepts
Advanced with Microsoft Office 365 Tools, especially in Excel analysis.

Problem solving and the ability to exercise good business judgment in a fast-paced working environment.

Very effective written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Strong ability to foster relationships with a diverse group of peers, customers, and suppliers.

Flexible and willing to adjust to a changing workload to ensure timely results.

Effective self-direction and motivation, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Excellent general computer skills in SAP, Microsoft Office and BI Analytics.

Experience in Accounitng Process Optimization Techniques (Blackline or similar account reconciliation tool,) is a plus.

Demonstrate ability to understand and align international accounting activities with global process standardization objectives.

_Education_

_ _BS in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.

Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification

Masters of Business Administration or Accounting Certification preferred
